On the occasion of the Opera Season 2025, the Teatro Comunale di Bologna is pleased to present “In Backlight. Paths of Opera between Art and History”: a Lyric Opera introduction that illuminates the Operas staged at the Comunale Nouveau through original and transversal readings, spanning literature, music, cinema, painting, art and costume.
A fascinating journey through images, sounds and suggestions to explore the profound influences of Opera on the historical and social context, guided by the engaging narratives of:

Subscribers will be able to pick up tickets by presenting their season tickets at the theater’s box office counters (Largo Respighi, 1) according to opening hours.
