Sensual, disturbing, spectacular and moving, this musical, based on the novel by Manuel Puig also became famous thanks to the Oscar-winning film played by William Hurt and Raoul Julia, “The Kiss of the Spider Woman”, is considered by many a true masterpiece of the 90s, as well as one of the best works by the famous duo Kander & Ebb.

Luis Alberto Molina, a homosexual convicted for corruption of a minor, finds himself sharing the cell with the Marxist revolutionary Valentin Arregui Paz.

Despite the differences in character, a relationship of trust develops between the two that will lead them to bond so deeply that they are prepared to sacrifice their lives for each other.

With a vibrant soundtrack by John Kander that combines Latin sound, classic Broadway and modern Broadway, assisted by the most profound and heartfelt lyrics by Fred Ebb, “Kiss of the Spider Woman” is the testimony of that love, trust and friendship that manages to emerge even in the most terrible circumstances.
